Patrick R. Wyatt, DDS
Dr. Wyatt is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Virginia Dental Association. He has been practicing in the Hampton Roads area for over 30 years. In 1980, Dr. Wyatt joined Dr. Allen Findley’s practice in Newport News. In 1984 Dr. Findley retired and Dr. Wyatt took over as the sole Orthodontist. Later, Dr. Wyatt opened a second location in Williamsburg
Dr. Wyatt grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. He went to Deep Creek High School and graduated Valedictorian. He earned a B.A. degree in Science from the University of Virginia. At UVA he joined ROTC and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi fraternity, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honors society.
After his graduation from UVA he served four years as an officer in the United States Navy, including a tour in Vietnam. He then attended Dental School at the Medical College of Virginia and received his D.D.S. After two more years of postgraduate training at the Medical College of Virginia he received his specialty designation in Orthodontics.
Dr. Wyatt enjoys playing golf, gardening and photography. Many of his photos decorate his office walls. He is an avid supporter of the area schools. From time to time you can find him at his patient’s sporting or other school events.
He supports many local charities. He is a member and past president, of the Warwick Rotary. He has even played an array of characters in the Junior Women’s Club of Hilton Village’s Gaslight Dinner Theater where his wife was a member for many years and past president.
Nothing is more important to Dr. Wyatt than his family. He and his wife of 38 years Sallie, have three girls and one boy, Ryan, Kelly, Casey and Colin. They also have been blessed with six granddaughters, Maggie, Lucy, McKinley, Sydney, Amelia and Emily. One grandson, Wyatt rounds out the crowd.
Dr. Wyatt brings his specialty training and his enthusiasm and understanding of the importance of family to his practice. It shows in the excellent treatment he provides to his patients and their families
